So here it is! We’re gonna talk about the cup of suffering, persecution, trials and tribulations! Don’t you love those subjects?! They are amazing, they are wonderful and so beautiful!  I used to not like these subjects, because it would kinda give me an image of defeat, but last couple of weeks that picture to me has changed.

Over the last couple of months God has been showing me pictures of blue butterflies. Even today when I was praying and waiting on the Lord I saw this blue butterfly and the more I looked, the more I began to see in the Spirit. As I looked, I noticed there were more blue butterflies and they were forming this line like they were showing me the path of resurrection.

God has been speaking to me a lot about “metamorphosis” just like how a caterpillar turns into a beautiful butterfly. The butterlfy speaks to me about this new life we find in Christ. We are no longer a caterpillar. We are an incredibly beautiful butterfly, a new creation itself. A caterpillar and a butterfly are two totally different insects both carrying a different dna. And guess what! This is what happened to you at the cross. You have been crucified with Christ and no longer live. You are dead. A new creation has been raised from the grave when you were raised with Christ to life. For if anyone is in Christ, the old is gone and the new has already begun! This is a kainos new life! Kainos is the greek word used for “new” when the scriptures speak about being a “new” creation. It means “new, but of different kind.” You are no longer human. You are a totally new creation with different dna, born from above. Given the Spirit of adoption that makes you call God “Papa.” You carry Papa’s dna, but today I’d like to talk about your old dna that died and how it can look like to accept your death. This is gonna be so much fun!

Be of a cheerful mind for I have overcome the world – John 16:33

Accepting your death is one of the most freeing things in life! When we learn to live from our heart and the guidance of the Holy Spirit we might encounter resistance from “the enemy.”

People might not understand your journey. That’s fine. It’s not their journey to make sense of, it’s yours.

Whatever might accuse you, whatever resistance or negative experience you are going through… It has already killed you!
Realising that it has already killed you and you died on the cross with Jesus means that you have moved beyond your circumstances and transcended life in that area! It can no longer kill you, because you’re already dead and you’ve accepted your death. You have moved beyond and flying above, now finding out that resurrection is beginning to arise!

For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it. – Matthew 16:25

There is always life on the other side of the cross! So be dead to sin! Know that you have been crucified with Christ and no longer live. It will break you free from all condemnation from religion for example that wants to crucify you! Accept your death in Christ and find your resurrection!

Even so consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus. – Romans 6:11

I have begun to really enjoy resistance in a glorious way. I glory in my tribulations and trials! It is an absolute joy, because I get to boast in the finished work of the cross that I already died with Him on the cross. There is no need to be afraid of being killed with accusations and tribulations. In fact, there have been moments I experienced so much joy in the crucifixion of Christ (which is my death) that I felt like running towards every criticism, accusation and trial only to find myself experience even more resurrection life and new creation being more revealed! There is so much glory on this! I’ve been learning more and more about embracing my identity in Christ and truly being dead to sin and the world, knowing now that Christ is my real life and we live as one! There is no strive of becoming something. I already am. It is finished and I’m calling it to come forth! Step by step, getting deeper and deeper into my real life which is Christ. Finding the path of life!

I mean this is how Jesus overcame the world. He allowed the world to kill Him in order to find Himself rising up from the grave. Going down is going up! The door is in the floor. We overcome our struggles by realising that it truly has killed us already. It has totally killed us. And Jesus went with us in our death and raised us into life. Yes, even our future struggles. It has also killed us. It has done it’s job. I do not need to reject it’s job. I embrace it’s job that it has really killed me in Christ and therefore it has NO POWER over me any more! Woohoo!

For he that is dead is freed from sin. – Romans 6:7

Anyways, just some thoughts about death and finding resurrection life. Religion wants to keep you in the place of pain and crucifixion, while Christ leads us to enter His resurrection.

Yet, it’s a journey and we continue learning…

Be blessed guys!
