Baruch van Beek grew up in a christian family and gave his heart to Jesus when he was 6 or 7 years old. After a water baptism at the age of 16, he received the Holy Spirit. But it was two years later that he really had an encounter with the Father’s love. This brought him on a journey of discovery, getting free from the fear of the supernatural and the unknown and stepping into sonship, learning about our Father’s heavenly kingdom.

In 2013, Baruch van Beek went to iDestiny, a 5-month school of ministry that was based in Manchester, the UK. IDestiny was part of Catch The Fire Ministries which was birthed out of the Toronto blessing, a movement of the Father’s Heart. Here, Baruch learned a lot more about the Father’s heart, the Holy Spirit and functioning in the gifts of the spirit, creative evangelism, the prophetic, grace, and our kainos reality as a new creation in Christ.

In 2016, God spoke to Baruch to step into ministry. It was during this time that God opened the doors for him and connected him with the right kind of people. During this time, Baruch became more active with evangelism and operating in the prophetic realm, ministering to people. He got to minister at christian conferences and on the streets during evangelism, seeing people touched by the Holy Spirit and the Father’s love. Since then, he also got into contact with some people whom he has been mentoring into the supernatural for a short period of time.

Besides ministering at christian conferences, Baruch came into contact with Daniël van Deutekom, an evangelist, called as a missionary in the Netherlands. They became really good friends. Together, they organized Holy Spirit nights where many people received the Holy Spirit, had encounters with God, received inner healing and a deep touch of the Father’s love.

After all of these things, Baruch van Beek took a few steps back for more inner growth with the Holy Spirit, while leading a homegroup for a while, together with Daniël van Deutekom, where they enjoyed the presence of God,and growing together in the things of the Kingdom.

In 2018, during a time of prayer, God spoke very clearly to Baruch van Beek. He heard God say “ Baruch, I want you to start making steps to go to Japan.”  So he obeyed God and went on his first trip to Japan in September 2019. During this trip, it became clear for Baruch, this is the place where he needs to be and where God has prepared him for in the last few years.

Since October 2022, Baruch van Beek now lives in Tokyo, Japan as a full-time missionary. At the moment, he is working with Awakening Tokyo. Together they believe that Tokyo is a breakpoint for revival in Japan and Asia.
